ATAC's Jobs and Justice Forum Monday 3/16
ATAC's JOBS & JUSTICE FORUM MON., MARCH 16, 7:00 PM
ZION BAPTIST CHURCH ANNEX BROAD & VENANGO (NORTHEAST CORNER)
UNPAID BLACK LABOR IN THE PAST REQUIRES PAID BLACK LABOR IN THE PRESENT!
- George Washington enslaved Black men, Black women, and Black children at America's first "White House," which was right here in Philadelphia at the current site of the new Liberty Bell Center at Sixth and Market.
- Avenging The Ancestors Coalition (ATAC) and others recently won the historically successful battle to force the federal government to finally agree to the creation of the Slavery Memorial/President's House project, which will highlight the lives of those enslaved Black people.
- ATAC is now intensifying its ongoing battle to make absolutely certain that Black construction workers, masons, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, landscapers, painters, laborers, historians, script writers, fabricators, designers, videographers, video screen installers, actors, tour guides, etc. are hired as contractors, subcontractors, and workers on this culturally historic project.
- Today's free Black sons and daughters of yesterday's enslaved Black fathers and mothers must be selected to play a substantial, significant, and prominent role in this culturally historic project!
If you plan to attend, please call ATAC immediately at 215/552-8751 and leave a message stating your name and telephone number.
