Brothers and Sisters,

Philadelphia is about to make history with the Slavery Memorial/President's House project — and you can be a part of it! This is the city where America's first "White House" was located and this is the house where President George Washington enslaved Black men, Black women, and Black children.

Construction of this culturally historic project is nearly completed, and the grand opening will take place this fall. The interpretation (meaning the words and images) for this project is being discussed and debated right now — and you can join in that discussion and debate.
